Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’ve always been a hard worker doing mostly labor intense jobs to make money for my family. Needless to say bouncing around from these types of jobs left my back and knees feel like I was a 80 year old man (I’m 38 by the way). Finally in December 2007 I got married to my sweetheart girlfriend Azra, and I was finally blessed with an opportunity to get out of the labor field and become a Warehouse Supervisor with a medical shipping supply company, the salary was just enough to pay the bills but hardly any left over for leisure or even savings. There were also those tough months when my wife and I had to decide if the cable or the phone bill would have to wait to get paid. Then in February of 2009 my company Owens & Minor laid off our entire warehouse and that sent me to the unemployment line, and believe me with a new wife and family and no job, I had to penny pinch and crunch every dime to make it useful for food and bills, while at the same time allow myself to see a better future for myself and my family.
The Summer of 2009 I decided to run my own show and start my own business and it had to be something minus the physical labor. A very close friend to the family Deatria Shields introduced me to something that blew my mind. She brought to my attention the MLM business, and we were both excited about this industry and I knew then that this would be the key to open so many doors in my life. This would allow me to bring a change in the financial picture of so many people starting with myself. I mainly had friends and family in mind at first but I didn’t have anyone else in mind next. I introduced the business to my entire address book, and I hosted PBR’s at my home and dropped off literature and company dvd’s . Well what happened was no one at the PBR’s had their credit cards and account information available, and the dvd’s weren’t returned, so my results were dismal. Everyone liked the idea and the plan had value, it’s just that no one could see the vision that Deatria and I saw.
